-Both images are Close Ups, making them feel more intimate. Like they are closer to you, they appear more welcoming than those taken at Long Shots.
- Both Models are looking straight into the camera, which again is more intimate allowing you to connect with the photo's through the intense eye contact, however although both are intense it is in a very different context.
- Both models hair are wild and big, however the right hand side picture looks more posed and very studio created, where as the photo on the left hand side looks more natural, as though it was taken by chance, but in reality was posed.
- Although both models are staring straight into the camera, they are both showing different emotions. The model on the left hand side is showing happiness and joy, making the reader feel more comfortable. Where as the model on the right hand side is showing a much more moodier emotion further leading to the belief that it has been studio created.
- Both photographs are specific to the content of the magazines, for example the left hand side photo is show casing holidays and fun. Where as the photo on the right looks more glamourous, as though it will be about fashion etc, rather than having fun and relaxing.
-However i have challenged the stereotypes as my image is much less posed, and is in a more relaxed atmosphere. Where as the image on the right hand side is much more posed. As the type of music genre my magazine includes is one in which looking perfect is essential. As it reflects the type of audience the magazine aims to draw.

These images are representations of young women so you have to explore how you have represented young femininity. Your image is quite different to the other one, which is far more stereotypical. Explore how you have challenged the stereotypes. Ask me if you are not sure about this.
