Contents page

Contents page

By using an example magazine contents page, i was able to create a page that was suitable for my magazine. The page again included an image which i had adjusted the contrast on. However for the writing to be seen i had to adjust the colour scheme slightly, using only whites and reds. However, this isn't a drastic change as on my front cover i used reds and whites, but not for the writing. To maintain my original ideas i again used the idea of pictures overlaying one another, this also helped to fill what would have been an empty gap on the page.
As you can see the original image that has been used has been edited. I stretched the image to fit the A4 page and also adjusted the contrast and brightness levels. As i have not included the images i would have used for the rest of the contents page, i can not analyse the technical code for them. However i have used a red overlay of writing meaning i will have had to put thought into the colours used on the pictures. I decided to use the same type of font/colour for the whole page as i believe that a continuing theme can at times be more effective than one that is just random and has no meaning. I also think that by using a formal type of font for the contents page can make people think more seriously about the magazine. I also think that how it contrasts to the front cover will also add mystery to the magazine itself. I believe that by asking questions in the contents page, people will be more likely to read on as they will then querie into what the answer to the question is, it will also create an interest in the magazine as they may agree or disagree with the stated ideas.
