Who would be the audience for your media product?

Clubbers

Shop in places like Riverisland and they tend to listen to Drum and Bass or Dance/Trance music. They don't really spend alot of time watching TV, they are either out clubbing, shopping or on social networking sites such as 'Facebook'. They also spend a large majority of their time listening to there favoured style of music.

This person would buy my magazine because of the content. It will include information on where they can go to have a good time e.g Clubs. Also this issue has an early guide to the top clubbers holidays and places to see top acts. These things are more likely to persuade the potential readers to purchase the magazine.
The target audience for the magazine would be in the age range of 18 to 25. They are more than likely to live in cities (Norwich, London) and are mainly middle class. Further meaning the main products advertised in the magazine will be clothing, make-up products and perfume. The main outlets that will be advertise there products will be:
- For clothing, River Island and Topshop
-For Make-up products by Maybelline and Maxfactor
-For Perfume products by Lacoste and FCUK
Other products that may be included in advertising may be alcoholic drinks such as:
-Archers
-Malibu
- Smirnoff and WKD

  1. Can you say anything demographic about clubbers (age range, class, location etc)? Also can you be more specific about the kinds of advertisers that you would hope to tap into with your magazine? You do this through an analysis of the TA's spending habits. Does your audience research tell you anything here?
